Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]May 9 (ANI/BusinessWire India): Bharti AXA Life Insurance, a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises, one of India’s leading business groups, and AXA, one of the world’s largest insurance companies, announced today Today the launch of her financial education campaign ‘InspiHERs – enabling an empowered future – a special initiative to educate women about finances and empower them to make informed financial decisions for a secure future.
Research suggests that 55% of women do not make informed financial decisions and 59% of women do not have health or life insurance. Bharti AXA wants to change this scenario one step at a time. On the occasion of “International Mother’s Day” and ahead of “International Day of Families”, the company has embarked on this initiative to empower women, especially mothers, by teaching them the basics of planning finance and savings to secure their future.
The ‘InspiHERs’ campaign will kick off with hands-on education sessions for a group of mothers across Mumbai and will be promoted on social media platforms to create engagement. Through this campaign, the company aims to engage with women, especially mothers, their families and nearly one million citizens across the country on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to raise awareness of a future financially secure for women.
Financial literacy is the foundation of empowered women, especially mothers who are selfless givers in society. This campaign will help them prepare for emergencies, cope with rising costs of living and inflation, make financial decisions with confidence, and set a good example for their children by becoming financially independent.
Along with the on-the-job education initiative, Bharti AXA Life Insurance employees will also speak out and contribute to this noble initiative. They will willingly teach their mothers; domestic helpers and other family members the basics of financial planning and encourage Indians on social media to promote financial literacy and drive this initiative forward.
