Vodafone Idea Foundation publishes book to promote financial literacy

The book was compiled with VIF partners – CSC and Learning Links Foundation

Telecom operator Vi piloted the “Jaadu Ginni Ka” program through its CSR arm – Vodafone Idea Foundation, in association with Learning Links Foundation and supported by CSC. The flagship financial education program “Jaadu Ginni Ka” is implemented in 45 districts in 19 states of the country. The program has reached 1 crore Indians – more than half of them women – enabling them to learn basic financial literacy skills.

A book called ‘Dreams and Journeys’ set up by Vodafone Idea Foundation and CSC, covers the stories of beneficiaries whose lives have been transformed by learning financial concepts about investments, financial planning and digital financial tools by through a narrative content format, with games and quizzes from the “Jaadu Ginni Ka” program.

The book launch event was attended by CSC village entrepreneurs, Jaadu Ginni Ka beneficiaries and project team members.
